Max Poolman

Max Poolman is an Amsterdam-based artist. In his music, he combines folk, country, and rock influences. He is inspired by artists such as Tyler Childers, Ryan Bingham, and Justin Townes Earle. In his live performances, the audience is drawn into the show by his personal songs and raw, edgy voice. In these shows, he alternates between intimate acoustic songs with just a guitar, a blues harp, and rugged country-rock tunes by which he lets the audience go crazy.

Max was one of the most booked artists during Popronde in 2021. In 2020 his first EP, called Bucking the Tiger, was released and was well received and critically acclaimed in the Netherlands.
